Mare mester in lemn, Grigore Tulean isi doreste din tot sufletul ca mestesugul sau sa fie transmis mai departe.Din proprie initiativa a incercat sa transmita dragostea de lemn tinerilor sai ucenici.
A incercat in propriul sau sat sa creeze un grup de elevi care sa invete meserie de la el, dar mai multe neintelegeri si neajunsuri nu au facut posibil acest lucru.
Si-a incercat norocul in Dragomireesti, unde conducerea scolii din comuna i-a pus la dispozite o sala de clasa unde sa-i invete pe copii mestesugul.A fost uimit de faptul ca aproximativ 20 de copii au fost interesati.Lucrurile au inceput bine, mesterul i-a invatat o parte din cunostiintele sale, apoi au mers in atelier si fiecare a inceput sa lucreze, dar cum lucrurile bune nu tin mult in Romania totul sa oprit dupa 2 ani de zile.Cand l-am intrebat pe mester daca 2 ani au fost de ajuns a spus ca era doar la jumatatea drumului, iar tot ce au invatat acei copii s-a pierdut.
Precizez ca mesterul nu a beneficiat de nici un ban, uneltele folosite de ucenicii sai fiind ale sale, iar drumul de la Sacel la Dragomiresti timp de doi ani a fost platit tot de catre mester.Ar mai incerca sa invete pe altii, dar nu pe cont propriu ci cu putin ajutor.
Grigore Tulean este printre putinii mesteri pe care i-am intalnit care isi doreste ca mestesugul lui sa fie trasmis mai departe, dar din pacate fara putin ajutor nu se va putea.

Meseria a invatat-o de la tatal lui, dar i-au trebuit, aproximativ 3 ani de zile, pana sa stapaneasca aceasta meserie…
